Fundraising
The money we earn from our fundraising efforts is contributed to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, which supports breast cancer education and awareness, the Komen Race for the Cure Survivor Program, scholarships, educational programming, and leadership development.
2009 Holiday Shopping Fundraiser:
Thank you to all those who supported our fall fundraiser, our sixth annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza. This year's event was an online event instead of an open house. Although we missed the fun and merriment of the annual open house event, we felt that an online event fit better with the slow economy. We invited all of our friends and family to participate in our online shopping event, where we featured eight different home party business representatives selling their products. 10% to 25% of each vendor's sales revenue was donated to our chapter. Proceeds from the event netted over $185, bringing our total event proceeds for all six years to over $3600. Way to go Zetas!
West Suburban ZTA Garage Sale:
Thanks to all those who supported our first-ever chapter Garage Sale. We appreciated all the assistance from those that helped prepare and organize for the sale, as well as those that helped at the sale. We couldn't have done it without all the generous merchandise donations! Your efforts helped us earn $530, which will benefit the ZTA Foundation and the Senior Home that we support.
